An audio capture and conversion tool to turn all your live audio into fully editable multitrack files for convenient post-production.
What goes in?
Analog audio.
Tracker hooks up to any JamHub® studio through the SoleMix® remote jack to record seven stereo sections while giving players access to fully independent monitor mixes for a studio quality recording experience.
Tracker also features a DB25 in, which you can find on the back of most industry standard mixing desks at clubs and bars around the world, making it easy to plug in and record entire shows. No DB25 on your mixer? No problem. You can use a standard DB25 breakout snake and connect to any mixer with TRS jacks.
What comes out?
CD-quality WAV files, one for each channel, packaged into a session folder and saved onto a standard SD card.
How do I get my files?
The JamHub Tracker connects wirelessly to the internet, and will automatically upload all of your multitrack files to BandLab™, the shared cloud recording studio, so you and your entire band will have instant access to the songs for on-the-go mixing and editing.
And the JamHub Tracker saves everything onto its SD card before upload, so if you prefer a wired approach, it's easy to pop the card out, or simply attach the USB cable to drag and drop files onto your computer.
So it works with JamHub and conventional mixers?
Absolutely. We designed it that way.
The JamHub Tracker closes the loop between BandLab and JamHub, removing the technological challenges that stand between great bands and great recordings.
But Tracker also works on its own with your existing gear, making it a wholly unique and invaluable tool in your recording arsenal. Just throw it in your gig bag, record a show or a session, and load it in to your favorite editing software to perfect the mix, add some effects, even recut the vocals, all without missing a beat.
What do all the lights do?
Each light is a channel. 16 lights – 16 channels, so you can quickly tell what you've got hooked in for recording.
How big is it?
Not at all. Tracker is roughly the size of a stomp box, making it easy to carry with your normal gear, so you can record absolutely everything.
When can I get one?
The JamHub Tracker will be hitting the streets in SPRING 2013!
